I think the Cheifs go w/ a WR in the first. Against the Ravens we were using, Verran Tucker, Terrance Copper, & Kevin Curtis (who we signed this week) as our #2 WR. OLB is a possibility, but I think between Studebaker (aka Baby Vrebel) & 2010 5th Rounder Cameron Sheffield (who was hurt this year) KC will wait at least till the 3rd to take an OLB. I love the center pickup you have in the 2nd round. But I dont think there is anyway, KC goes w/ a safty in the 3rd. Eric Berry will be a cornerpiece for the Defense & Kendrick Lewis played good for a rookie. Instead, look for KC to add to thier front 7 with an OLB or a NT in the 3rd...

The Patriots will not be drafting a running back with their 1st pick. When was the last time they drafted a running back with a high pick ? RIGHT Lawrence Maroney , how did that work out ? B.B . will take a large body on defense before drafting an offensive skill player . Remember defense wins championships . So please change that 17th pick to defensive player .

THANK YOU .

I agree with Cam Newton going to the titans. The titans are needing a good QB, plus it dont hurt that Jeff Fisher's son plays at Auburn

This mock is awful. In the first round it has at least 2 players who aren't coming out (Janoris Jenkins and Hightower). Also, for the Steelers, it shows Pouncey being the pick but talkes about Romeus.

As they say on ESPN, "C'MON MAN!"

Josh,

I agree that the Chiefs could use an offensive weapon especially a wide receiver. Bowe is a good receiver but like you say they need another option opposite her.

Myles,

I agree that a RB may not be the most pressing need and defensive line may be a better choice. In all likelihood Big Bill will trade down but for the time being I have made a change and given them a d-lineman. Additionally I still think they may be looking for a weapon at the RB position.

George,

I agree and disagree... I think CB, Defensive Line and LB may be better options if the Titans can get a good veteran like Kolb, Mcnabb or Orton. If they aren't able to then I think yes maybe they need to get the true QB of the future.

Brendan,

Thank you for the update on who is staying and who is going back to school.. ( I had Hightower going in the 2nd round) I have updated my draft and please continue to let me know where I have messed up...Thanks.

MMmmmmmmmmm.....Seattle won...I know it's hard for some to come to terms with this, but it happened...They ain't picking 21st. I understand it's early and this is just a mock draft, but at least try to get the basic stuff right. Just sayin'

I know before it used to be based on record for all teams other than the ones that made the super bowl is it all based on where you finish in the playoffs now?

Every day with more and more guys staying in school for their last year, this draft quality (especially on offense) is looking worse and worse. Seems to be a good year to trade that 1st pick for a 2nd/3rd this year and next year's first.

I agree I think defensive line is a strong position and wide receiver is a pretty good position.....other than that dbs is ok but out isn't a great draft class all around...especially for o line and lbs.

"So I have them going with the best pro style QB in Gabbert who ranks just ahead of Ryan Mallett."

Missouri and Arkansas both run a spread offense so if you think the 49ers are going to take the best pro style QB wouldn't it be Jake Locker who actually took snaps from under center?

You need to update your picking selections. New England does not hold the number 2 pick in the 4th round anymore. They traded it away for Deion Branch. That will be Seattle selecting there when the 4th round begins at number 2. I would think if Andy Dalton were still there on the board that he could be Matt's successor as Charlie Whitehurst has proven he isn't the guy to take the reigns when Hasselbeck retires.

Good job overall. Just a heads up though, you have my beloved Browns taking Ryan Broyles in Round 2, but he is staying at OU for another season. Keep up the good work!

I like this mock draft-- I still do have a couple of problems. I'm a pats fan (thought I would get that out of the way) but I don't see them still having 2 picks in the 1st round by the end of the draft (probably will get rid of the ~32nd pick)

Personally, I think that they will go Kerrigan with the 17th pick. He has top 10 talent easily and he has a great motor and work ethic things that are high for B.B. If not, I am also really high on Adrian Clayborn and Von Miller. You also do not have Justin Houston in the draft, someone who I believe they will pounce on if they trade down this pick.

I also do not see them taking Leshoure. Everyone is high on Leshoure, but I think the RB class this year is loaded with depth and talent. The pats always seem to get no names at RB and I believe they have a decent core with BJGE as a short down back and Woodhead as a pass catcher/route runner. But Vareen I see as a playmaker who will become a good player. Same with both RBs out of Va Tech. But the depth is loaded and I think the Patriots will get a good fit for their pass-happy system in a later round if at all (they havent drafted a SINGLE RB since 07 in the 6th round) The patriots have a hole at OT which is why I see them taking Solder if he's around, Tyron Smith, Barksdale, or Sherrod-- if they still have this pick.

In the later rounds I hope they get Herzlich. I also hope they get Randall Cobb who is just a playmaker. I can see him becoming a Welker or a better Edelman.

Thanks for reading and keep up the good work.
